Review Meeting of “Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services Program” Held

A review meeting of the “Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services Program” was held under the chairpersonship of Secretary Health & Population, Nadia Saquib.

Relevant officers attended the meeting and gave a detailed briefing on various aspects of the program. The Secretary reviewed the provision of primary healthcare services, field activities, and the outreach system designed to deliver services to the public.

She directed the authorities to ensure the availability of quality healthcare facilities, especially in remote and underprivileged areas, and emphasized taking practical steps to further improve the effectiveness of the program.

The “Maryam Nawaz Community Health Services Program” aims to provide basic healthcare services at the doorstep of the public. The Secretary made it clear that no negligence in this regard will be tolerated.

Nadia Saquib also instructed the concerned officials to maintain continuous performance monitoring and ensure the achievement of assigned targets.
